Working on the Weekends!

Jon and his crew are hustling, working on Saturdays, trying to get all the trimwork finished so that the floors can be stained and the walls can be painted.

Second floor railing goes up! Now the girls can really run around the house:

Little french doors open to master bedroom from dressing area. There is white paper covering the glass:

Tile!

The finishing touches are beginning! I wasn't allowed into some of the bathrooms so the pictures are limited...

Here is the girls' bathroom-- blue penny tiles on the floor, white subway on shower, with a row of blue penny accent

Master bathroom-- white marble squares

With marble basket weave under the tub and on shower floor

Laundry room-- I asked for the cheapest tile they had-- and here it is at $3.00 a sq. foot!

Vanities for the master bathroom and the girls' bathroom:

Our wonderful tile expert will wait until he knows exactly where cabinets are to put the black rosettes into the floor. For now, it's just the white hex tiles:

The trimwork in these doorways is just one of the reasons that our contractor kicks ass-- he needed to do something creative with the wider opening and came up with this:

Powder room floor-- same as accent tiles in master bath:

And finally terra cotta in the mudroom!
